Relaxation Exercises
Reduce stress and increase well-being
Relaxation and mindfulness exercises can help to reduce stress and increase well-being. It is particularly beneficial if these are carried out regularly and integrated into everyday life. Unfortunately, our relaxation exercises are available in German only.
Caution: People with psychiatric illnesses should not carry out the exercises independently.
A Special Place
In the relaxation exercise A Special Place, you focus your thoughts on pleasant, positive images that are guided during the exercise. Guided imagery can help you achieve a relaxed state, reduce stress, and convey a sense of well-being.
This exercise takes about 15 minutes.
Short Meditation
In the mindfulness exercise Short Meditation, you use your breath as an anchor to stay in the here and now. This can help to calm your thoughts.
This exercise takes about 5 minutes.
Progressive Muscle Relaxation
In the progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) exercise, you focus your attention on the alternation between tension and relaxation of individual muscle groups and feel the different states.
This exercise takes about 15 minutes.
Body Scan
In the mindfulness exercise Body Scan, you are guided to take on an observational role and perceive the sensations in individual parts of your body. The experience should be observed without analyzing, judging, or reacting to it.
Diese Übung dauert ca. 40 Minuten.
Walking Meditation
The mindfulness exercise, walking meditation, uses movement as an element to help you be in the moment. In this exercise, you focus your attention on walking. Feeling your own feet as you walk slowly can help calm your thoughts.
